A Note from the Pastor
Greetings in the Name of the Lord,
I am thankful you took time to view our website. Please accept my personal invitation to visit and see the amazing things God is doing here at BBC.
Times are quickly changing, and many things are unsure. While life’s events are always challenging, God’s Word is unchanging! I believe God has given our church the unique ability to help everyone. We have vibrant ministries in both English and Spanish and Sunday school classes for all ages. We are redesigning our youth program to bring a finished product that will be second to none. Our calendar of youth activities comes to life in spring.
Single adults often don’t fit well into some churches. Sure, there are many seeker and singles groups everywhere, but many of these are only fellowship-based and not centered upon the Lord. Very shortly, we will found our young adults group looking to guide them first in their walk with Christ and then helping them to find God’s true will for their lives.
We take the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ seriously. We seek to make disciples (believers), baptize them, and then teach them to obey the instructions of our Lord. This task starts with our New Believer’s class and continues into our “SPEAK” Discipleship Program.
Our New Believer’s Class shows a believer in Christ biblically how to be sure of their salvation and what baptism is and is not. We then teach about the church and finish with an instruction how to be a true disciple; that is one who continues in God’s Word.
Our SPEAK Discipleship Program is also unique. Each letter of the acronym identifies an important area of direction and growth for the believer. S –service for our Lord; P –prayer unto the Lord; E –evangelism, sharing the good news of Christ; A –assembly, what it is, and how to be a vital member of it; K –knowledge, growing in knowledge of our Lord and His Word.
We are also privileged have a Reformer’s Unanimous (RU) Chapter here at BBC. RU is the fastest growing faith-based addictions program in the United States. We minister to those struggling in alcohol, drug, or tobacco addictions. We also teach deliverance from eating disorders, anger programs, pornography, and a host of other issues. RU focuses upon the answer, not the problem. The answer is very simple – Jesus Christ! Please call our RU hotline: 505-334-9961 for more information.

You won’t find the latest fads or trends to tickle your fancy. You won’t find all the bells and whistles clanging vainly in the empty hearts of men today. What you will find is God, His Presence, and His Word that will make an everlasting difference in your life. That’s what Bible Baptist Church is all about, giving glory unto God!
